Jake had a strong spring season, showing consistent contact at the plate and excellent range at shortstop. His glove work continues to be a standout tool — quick first step, clean exchanges, and accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate he made meaningful adjustments mid-season, shortening up with two strikes and driving the ball the other way against velocity.
Power is the next area of growth. Jake's swing path is on plane, but he's still learning to turn on inside fastballs. Added strength and intent in BP this offseason will unlock the next gear.
This is the same report every family on your roster receives. The player above is a sample. Below, we explain what each part means and where the numbers come from.
A Handled player report is a branded page that tells a family how their player did and what to work on next.
It pulls coach notes, grades, stats, and measurables into one place. Your club logo and colors sit at the top. Families open it from a link in an email or a text.
The report has five parts. Each one answers a question parents ask after a tryout or a season.
The 20-80 scale is the grading system pro scouts use. A 50 is average, a 60 is plus, and a 70 or higher is elite for the level.
Coaches can grade on 20-80 or on a simple 1-5 scale. Your club picks one in settings. Numeric grades are optional, so a coach can send notes only.
Stats and measurables come from the tools your club already uses. Handled imports GameChanger stats and reads exports from Rapsodo, TrackMan, Blast, HitTrax, and Pocket Radar.
Combine numbers like the 60-yard dash or exit velo can be typed in at the field. Each number is compared to players in the same grad year, so a 14-year-old is not graded against a senior.
Coaches add notes the way they already work. They can text, leave a voice note, upload a screenshot, or type in the app.
Handled turns those notes into clear sentences for the report. An admin can review and edit every report before it goes out. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
Families get the report by email, text, or both. Each parent and player email or phone on file can receive it.
The link opens on any phone. There is no app to download and no account to make. Families can also save a PDF copy.
Yes. Every player who tries out can get a report, including the ones who were cut or waitlisted.
Clubs tell us this is the part families thank them for most. A cut player still learns what to work on before the next tryout.
A report only shows what your coaches and tools recorded. If a player has no swing data, that section is left out instead of filled with guesses.
Video clips are capped at 30 seconds each. A coach can add up to 20 focus points per report.
